The original 16MB SIMM modules have a small design flaw in a sense that the memory chips are rated for a maximum voltage of 4.6 on all data-, control-, and address pins. Older memory controllers on 386 and 486 systems for which those modules were designed for, usually operate at 5 volts. This is my first attempt to make sure the memory chips on those modules operate within the specification outlined in the datasheet. Unfortunately, as you will see in this video, I wasn't quite successful. But there is no reason to give up!
