A great way to make your pottery more unique is to combine glazes with oxides and stains.
Most of us use glazes that we either buy in a pottery store or mix from a recipe, found in books or on websites like Glazy.org. Very few of us invest completely new and original glazes. And that is fine.
The problem is, that everyone else can buy or mix the same glazes. So how do you make your pottery more unique?
With the use of oxides and stains - under and/or over the standard glazes you can create looks that are truly original - make it 100% your own.
It is very simple to use oxides and stains - and a lot of fun.
In this video I will inspire you to play around with all the colors.
