《道德經》，又名《老子》，是先秦時期的古籍，相傳為春秋末期思想家老子所著。「完成於魯定公元年至魯定公五年或八年之間，也即前509年至前505年或前502年。」《老子》為春秋戰國時期道家學派的代表性經典，亦是道教尊奉的經典。全文八十一章，五千餘字。
《道德經》以哲學意義之「道」與「德」為綱，論述修身、治國、用兵、養生之理，而多以政治為旨歸，對傳統思想、科學、政治、文學、藝術等領域產生了深刻影響。
