The Blair Brothers lumber mill, logging and mill operations was located north of Pacific House just a little east of Pollack Pines and Fresh Pond on Highway 50. The mill began operations sometime in the 1930's and the property was sold to the Michigan California Lumber Co. in 1958. Shortly after Michigan Cal raised the property, took down all of the buildings and sold the equipment. The retail operations continued in Placerville.
