1967 1968 Mustang - This Restyle - Worried Lee Iacocca

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

The 1967 Mustang was the first redesign of the Mustang and it was in the works almost immediately after the first model was released. Lee Iacocca’s was nervous. Ford wanted to drop in the big block 390 and 428 engines and making the car larger wasn’t something Lee Iacocca wanted, but it wasn’t his company so he oversaw the redesign. Would this redesign be as successful as the first Mustang or, would this be rejected by the America Public? In this video we take a deep dive into the 1967 and 1968 Mustangs. We will look at the models, option, and power trains and finally its production numbers and see if Lee Iacocca really had anything to worry about.
