Condition & Details
Exterior
Finished in its original Raven Black, this Lincoln’s paint looks as if it was done yesterday, despite having received only one repaint. The body is completely rust-free, straight as an arrow, and mirror-like in its finish. Ceramic coated, this car gleams from every angle. All the glass is crystal clear, with chrome and trim that shine brilliantly. The only minor flaw is a slight patina on the driver’s side vent window chrome—barely noticeable and not detracting from the car’s presentation.
The car sits on its original wheels, with beautiful original hubcaps and new Coker wide whitewall radial tires.
Interior:
The original red leather interior is absolutely mint, with that rich sheen you can only get from well-preserved factory leather. The dash, door panels, and carpets are all pristine, with no cracks or fading. The gauge cluster is as bright and shiny as the day it was new. Everything works, including power windows, power locks, power seats, cruise control, wipers, Autronic Eye, courtesy lights, and even the clock. The factory deluxe radio has been internally upgraded to modern AM/FM internals with new speakers and a CD changer, giving you modern sound while maintaining the original aesthetic.
Mechanical:
Under the hood sits the original 462ci V8 engine, beautifully detailed, running smooth as silk and shifting like butter. Fully serviced with fresh fluids, a new battery, and a complete brake check, this Lincoln is 100% turnkey. The air conditioning system has been fully rebuilt with a new compressor and receiver dryer, blowing ice cold. The stainless-steel exhaust system ensures a perfect purr, and the car drives better than any restored example—because a well-preserved original always does.
History & Investment Value:
This 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible marks the final year of the legendary "Suicide Door" design. It has been owned and maintained at the highest level, previously parked alongside vintage Ferraris and treated with the same care. Unlike many restored examples, this car retains its original integrity, making it a rare investment-grade classic. Comparable Lincolns have recently sold at auction for well over $100,000 to $300,000+, and this one is nicer than most. If you know Lincolns, you know original, well-maintained survivors drive better than fully restored cars. This is one of the top three best-driving Lincolns I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned over 50 of them.
Don’t Miss This Opportunity
This car is priced for its quality, originality, and rarity, not for bargain hunters. It is show-ready and needs absolutely nothing.
