Welcome to my VLOG, where I take you on a journey back to 1978, when I was a young sailor experiencing the Norwegian Merchant Navy for the first time. The ship owner was Einar Rasmussen of Kristiansand and the vessel was MS Polycrusader.
I was 16 years old, and it was my first time in Thailand. The memories from that time are still strong and vivid. In this video, I share with you authentic clips from the manual loading operations that we used to do back then.
43 years later, in 2021, I returned to Thailand and Ko Sichang, to see what had changed. I found that some parts of the country remain unchanged, and I share those experiences with you too.
