It exists to ensure college football success is always and forever memorialized for future generations of Nebraska football fans. The BRTM began when a Nebraska football fan was about to watch the Nebraska/Michigan game with two Michigan fans. Heading into the game, Nebraska was a 30 point underdog. Before the game, the Nebraska fan asked his father, " How do I save face with Michigan fans?” The father responded with timeless wisdom, “Son, get in the time machine and head back to the 90s”. The BRTM was founded by the generous donation of a private collection of VHS tapes from a multi-generation family of Husker fans. The BRTM launched on November 26, 2022, the same day Matt Rhule was officially announced as the 31st permanent head coach in Nebraska history. May he learn from the 90s and bring pride to all who visit the Big Red Time Machine.
