I reserved a "1st class cabin" for $98.
It is a private room with bunk beds.
The bunk beds have the upper and lower bunks at right angles.
The ferry departs from Sendai Port at 7:40 p.m. and arrives at Tomakomai Port at 11:00 a.m.
It is a 15-hour ferry trip north across the Pacific Ocean.
