We are road tripping UP the California Pacific Coast Highway in our 2013 Ford Transit Connect micro camper van and have stopped at the Redwood National and State Parks to explore!
The park system includes one National Park, the Redwood National Park, and three state parks, Del Norte Coast, Jedediah Smith, and Prairie Creek State Park. We were fortunate enough to get permits for two must do hikes, The Tall Trees Grove Trail and Fern Canyon! We could not believe the sights along both. It was really neat to be hiking along a filming location for Jurassic Park! Before leaving, we also stopped by Stout which has the world's most scenic stand of redwoods.
