It was in October 2017 that an agreement was made with private sector investors to rebuild the complex. During this agreement, which was in the direction of upgrading and modernization, Shahrabazi complex saw many changes and transformations. The first phase of this project, including two indoor complexes, an open-air amusement park and a parking lot with a capacity of 1000 cars, was unveiled on a 3-hectare land, and the complex resumed its activities in July 2018, coinciding with the Decade of Dignity. Today, Heroes Amusement Park is one of the most modern and unique amusement parks and entertainment complexes in the country.
شهربازی قهرمانان با چنین دغدغه های کار خود را به طور رسمی آغاز کرد. در این ده سال با وجود کاستی‌ها، فعالیت این شهربازی به طور مداوم ادامه داشت. مهرماه سال 1397 بود که توافقی با سرمایه‌گذاران بخش خصوصی برای بازسازیِ مجموعه صورت گرفت. طی این توافق که در جهت ارتقا و مدرن‌سازی بود، مجموعه شهربازی تغییر و تحولات فراوانی به خود دید. از فاز اول این پروژه شامل دو مجتمع سرپوشیده، شهربازی روباز و پارکینگی با ظرفیت 1000 دستگاه خودرو، در زمینی به مساحت 3 هکتار رونمایی شد و در تیرماه سال 1398 مصادف با ایام دهه کرامت، مجموعه فعالیت خود را از سر گرفت. امروز شهربازی قهرمانان، یکی از مدرنترین و منحصربفردترین شهربازیها و مجموعه‌های تفریحی کشور است.
