it's almost 8,000 M below the surface of the Pacific Ocean somewhere off the coast of Peru a new type of smiling fish has been discovered it's officially called a snail fish boy oh boy do I have a treat for you today we're Dawning our diving suits and jumping into our submarines to head out into the deepest and darkest parts of the ocean to investigate some extremely weird discoveries there are so many things going on down there beneath the surface that scientists are finding new species all the time and today I've gathered together some of the things that have been found not too long ago what we have here is a southern lantern shark so uh like their name implies they can generate light uh through bioluminescence what might still be lurking down there well here for your viewing pleasure I have 20 of the craziest sea creatures recently discovered
