The Jeep Renegade is one of the best all-around small crossovers on the market today, thanks to its excellent packaging, smart design inside and out, and an extremely capable all-wheel drive system. Now, it's important not to mistake the Renegade with the Jeep Patriot and Compass, which are both based on the old Dodge Caliber. Neither one is a very good crossover or a Jeep. The Renegade, however, wears its Jeep badge proudly and it rightfully deserves much praise. Standard power comes from a capable 1.4-liter turbo four with 160 hp. The optional engine is a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter four with 180 hp. A six-speed manual is available but the majority of buyers opt for the nine-speed automatic. Check out our full walk around review for all of the details. *TImestamps* Introduction: 0:05 Don't mistake this for the Compass and Patriot: 0:48 What's under the hood?: 1:53 Which engine is best?: 2:15 A few transmission complaints?: 2:33 How about that infotainment system?: 3:00 How's it off-road?: 4:57 How's the cargo space?: 5:35 Is this a good overall value?: 6:02 Additional interior comments: 7:04 Safety and warranty: 8:17 For more details: https://carbuzz.com/cars/jeep/renegade All Jeep models: https://carbuzz.com/cars/jeep Check more SUVs for Offroad: https://carbuzz.com/cars/suvs-for-off-road
