The best 14u prospects from across the country, as well as the Dominican Republic and Venezuela, were in Fort Myers over Labor Day Weekend to showcase their talent at the 14u Perfect Game Select Festival, and boy did that talent shine – even through a long lightning delay in the middle of the contest.
There were outstanding pitching performances from both the West and East, as well as impressive trips to the plate from both squads. The West bats proved to be too much for the East to keep up with, however, and ran away with a 12-2 win.
