祇園祭の長刀鉾の稚児と補佐役の禿が、八坂神社を参拝する「社参の儀」が2022年7月13日、京都市内中心部で行われた。稚児の岡本善太さん（11歳）が会所前から白馬に乗って神社に向かい、3年ぶりに行われる山鉾巡行の無事を祈願した。
On July 13, 2022, the 'Shasan no Gi' ceremony was held in the center of Kyoto city, where the children of the Gion Festival's naginata-boko and the assistant Tadashi visited Yasaka Shrine. Zenta Okamoto (11 years old), a child, rode a white horse from Kaisho-mae to the shrine and prayed for the safety of the Yamaboko Junko, which was held for the first time in three years.
