Kinchakuda was formed by the meandering of the Komagawa River, which flows through Hidaka City, and because of its resemblance to kinchaku, it came to be called a purse-string field.
On the flat land surrounded by a river with a diameter of about 500 meters and an area of about 22 hectares, rape flowers and cosmos bloom every season, and in particular, the Manjushage colony in autumn is one of the largest in Japan, with 5 million trees blooming, and the whole area is dyed crimson, as if a red carpet has been spread.
The country of origin is mainland China, and Manju Shage is another name, and the official name is Higan flower because it blooms around the time of autumn.
