The coolest car ever built by AMC happens to be one of the coolest cars at the race track. The two seater Javelins bearing the AMX badges was the American Motor's answer to the "Big Three," by saying they were happy to toss their hat into the Muscle Car ring. Brian Fain is running the lower powered 290ci engine in Super Stock competition and at stick shift drag racing events around the country.
