This is my annual best of physical media disc awards for 2024. As ususal I am limited to only what I could purchase and review over the calendar year and my primary focus is on catalog titles. The year saw many fantastic releases from different studios and labels, making it an incredible time to be a film enthusiast and physical media collector. But there were several standouts in technical and overall presentation categories that meant they were shoe ins for these awards. In particular, 2024 saw some of the greatest physical media releases of all time.
One of these managed to be absolutely perfect. It gave me hope for physical media again.
