開園と同時にゴリラ舎へ行き撮影したニシローランドゴリラの映像です。
休み明けの火曜日ですが､この日は､茄子がカットされておらず塊(かたまり)のまま運動場に撒かれていました。
今年の4月に担当飼育員さんが変更となりそれ以来､その日のメインの担当飼育員さんによって野菜の切り方が違います。
ネネがまだ元気だった頃､歯茎だけでは茄子が上手く食べられない様子も垣間みられました。
室内の一般公開が中止されてから始まった午後1時すぎからのおやつを2階から撒くイベントもなくゴリラ達も何度も運動場に出て来ては待っていたのです。
野菜が撒かれないと運動場の反対側へ行き戻ってくる動作を繰り返して午後3時になりました。
そんな感じの一日でした。
遠方から来た来園者の方々に申し訳なく思います。

This is a video of the western lowland gorillas that I took at the gorilla house as soon as the zoo opened.
It was Tuesday after the holiday, but on this day, the eggplants were not cut and were scattered in chunks in the playground.
The zookeeper in charge was changed in April of this year, and since then, the way of cutting vegetables varies depending on the main zookeeper in charge that day.
When Nene was still healthy, we could see that she could not eat eggplants well with just her gums.
After the indoor public viewing was suspended, there was no event to scatter snacks from the second floor from 1:00 pm, and the gorillas came out to the playground many times to wait.
If the vegetables were not scattered, they would go to the other side of the playground and come back repeatedly, and it was 3:00 pm.
That was the kind of day it was.
I feel sorry for the visitors who came from far away.
