The first ray of sunshine in 2025 penetrates the clouds and shines on the land of the motherland, the magnificent mountains and rivers, and the brilliant light. With the first ray of morning light of the new year, the five-star red flag rises with the sun. From the first ray of sunset in Fuyuan City, Heilongjiang Province, the easternmost part of the motherland, to the beautiful morning light on the top of Mount Tai in Shandong Province, to the warm sunshine of the new year on the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link in Guangdong Province... We chase the first light of the new year and use our cameras to record the wonderful moments of sunrises across the country. On January 1, 2025, the PLA's three-service guard of honor invites you to watch the flag-raising ceremony in Tiananmen Square and witness the solemn moment of the five-star red flag rising. Watch the sunrise in the east and welcome the first ray of sunshine of the new year across the country.
