Get the best leather carving swivel knife that you can afford I use a Barry King Swivel Knife with a 3/8 inch barrel and a narrow hollow ground blade. I love my Craftool beveler's and have used them from the beginning of my leather tooling and carving journey. The Craftool numbers are B801, B802 and B803 and can be purchase from the Tandy Leather Company. These are the leather tooling and carving tools I used to create the 2025 Leather Carving you see here. Select a lightweight leather stamping maul that feels good in your hand and it not to heavy.
