Some of my DeWalt batteries are losing capacity, so today I’m building a few new ones — one from a cheap kit, and one from an original DeWalt battery, which I’ll actually be upgrading from a 3 amp hour to a 5 amp hour. It’s much cheaper than buying new batteries, and a fun project, but one that should only be attempted with adequate knowledge and training about the dangers of working with batteries.
