The standard, leading-edge bulb dimmer buzzes and so does the fan. It's driving me mad! So how do I control the speed in a way that is silent?
After many weeks of gathering the courage to spend the not inconsiderable money I finally plumped for a UK-sourced Variac, or auto-transformer.
