Air India Flight 171 Crash (June 12, 2025): An Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner, en route to London Gatwick with 242 people on board, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, India.
The plane went down in a residential area, hitting a medical college hostel and causing a large fire. Sadly, 241 of the 242 people on board were killed, and there were also fatalities on the ground.
