I AM BACK FROM MY MATERNITY LEAVE and I'm diving right into a new vlog! Here it is: 24 hours with a newborn baby...I'm giving you a glimpse into a realistic day in the life with our 7-week-old baby. Note: Milo is now 14 weeks old, so I filmed this over a month ago now. Things are changing so quickly over here!

At this point (when I filmed this vlog), Milo was on a schedule of feeding every 3 hours during the day, and he was still waking up every 2.5-3 hours at night. Now, at almost 14 weeks, he is on a feeding schedule of eating every 4 hours during the day, and he now sleeps through the night (from about 9pm-8am) without waking up!
The early postpartum days were NOTHING like what I expected. There were so many postpartum emotions...so many highs and lows. But everything about having a newborn baby is cyclical. The whole day is an endless cycle of feeding, playing, napping, changing diapers and then doing it all over again. I am hoping that this video really captures what it felt like back in those EARLY EARLY days! I am working on doing an expectation vs. reality of having a baby video, so STAY TUNED FOR THAT!
