Hi hi! I thought I'd share my figure skating journey as we begin a new year.
I remember watching so many adult figure skating videos online and thinking, "Why do these people progress so fast when I'm stuck doing this and that?" For the 2.5 years I have skated, I moved across the country, went back to my home country for a bit, and changed coaches 3 times. I also only had time to skate ~2 hours a week with school and work. So here is a realistic figure skating journey of someone who can't prioritize skating over life, but rather is enjoying and working hard within the capacity.
