3 Amtrak Routes Southwest Chief, Lake Shore Limited, Crescent 100+ Hours 22 States, 4,600 miles

I did a solo trip of 3 long distance Amtrak routes in a row. The Southwest Chief, Lake Shore Limited and the Crescent- on mostly empty trains. I stayed 1 night in Chicago and NYC in between routes. Hundreds of short video clips compiled here to give a broad overview of these routes. There are captions but no spoken commentary- this videos is mostly about the views.


Covid/ Social Distancing was in place. Masks required, limited capacity in the dining room. No more traditional dining or kitchen staff. Sleeper car passengers are served mediocre frozen/ reheated meals- either in your cabin or in the dining car with a reserved time slot.
