Please note- If you form drips with raw egg whites.. it's not advisable to lick up the icing...always tell your customers to scrape off the drips or buttercream Frosting after cutting their cakes... then slice and share the cakes.
This is like this because most raw egg whites might be not be healthy to consume especially the contaminated ones because of the Salmonella infection . If you must use egg whites, You might replace the raw egg whites with the pasteurized egg whites or meringue powder..... Or better still form your drips using the other 2 methods shown in this video tutorial.
