Dig the Patina look, but your ride just doesn't have it? I have some solutions for ya, I am painting my '66 C10 "Bandit" and I will cover three different DIY how to faux patina methods / tips that I used to get a pretty neat looking old truck, though they would work to paint fake patina on any classic truck or classic car. I bought my truck covered with primer and dug down to find some mix matched paint, parts, and a lot of bondo! While I have always loved the patina look, I didn't like my truck's look, so I decided to change it. Hopefully this may give some of you in a similar situation some ideas to help on your own projects.
