1. This video is for educational purposes, aiming to inform people about Robert Schumann, one of the most underrated composers in the history of classical music (notably compared to his contemporaries such as Mendelssohn, Chopin, Liszt, and later Brahms and Wagner, etc), what kind of music he composed, and the feeling/meanings it conveys to people.
2. I purposefully drew only one or few section(s) of notable works in order to leave the listeners hanging (like a cliffhanger) and encourage them to try exploring the beautiful world of Schumann "on their own" and listen further into not only the works included in this video but much more that Schumann had composed.
3. I am not planning to monetize this video or any other content in this channel. I thank very much for all the resources provided for me by IMSLP and YouTube videos and wish for the listeners to try listening to each piece entirely. All the music sources can be found on YouTube. I think it would be too long for me to include every single source here.
4. I didn't include any timeline of this very long video so that the listener can try to listen/view this video from the very start to the finish, like a book or a movie, instead of skipping from time to time and only trying to listen to works that they already know well and or don't know at all. From the start to finish, the musicality of Schumann's works never fails to please us, so if you're tired midway, it's best advised to pause the video, do something else, and come back to continue. (Edit: I decided to include the timeline for those, with certain reasons, who close the tab and pick up where they left off.)
5. Fun fact: I originally intended for this video to be about 30 minutes long, but because I couldn't decide between some of them and the works I wanted to include kept piling up, I was like "fuxx it" and spent so much time creating this freaking long video. It took me 3 hours just to export this video, and what's more scarier is that this video could have been much longer with ease.
I hope that you enjoy this video and have a nice day.
