Try out these 3 Party Starters with 5 Ingredients only and let me know which one you liked best! @EmamiHealthyTasty Recipe: Paneer Wontons Preparation time: 20 minutes Cooking time: 20 minutes Serves: 8-10 Ingredients: 2 cups Flour 200g Paneer ¼ head large cabbage 250g carrots 1 tbsp soy sauce Salt to taste Pepper to taste 1 tsp Ajinomoto (optional) Oil to fry Method: Add ½ tsp salt to the flour and knead to a smooth dough. Shred the cabbage and grate the carrots. Add 1 tsp salt and set aside to sweat for 20 minutes. Squeeze out all the moisture released. Add soya sauce and seasoning to taste. Break the dough into lemon sized balls. Roll out each ball into a small puri. Brush each puri liberally with oil. Stack 4 puris together and roll out into a large roti. Heat a tawa or pan. cook the rolled roti on the tawa for just 15 seconds on each side and remove. Cut the sides to make a square and separate out the wonton sheets. Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center of a wonton sheet, apply flour slurry around it and fold over to make a triangle. Bring together both the edges and seal. Prepare all wontons. Fry the wontons in moderately hot oil till golden and crisp. Serve hot. Mushroom Cheese Sliders Preparation time: 20 minutes Cooking time: 20 minutes Serves: 12 Ingredients: 300g Mushrooms 4 onions Grated processed cheese, as required 12 pav 1 tbsp pizza seasoning Salt to taste Pepper to taste Oil as needed Method: Finely, slice the onions. Finely, slice the mushrooms. Divide the onions into 2 equal parts. In a pan, add 2 tbsp oil and add the half of the onions. Sauté till translucent and add the mushrooms. Saute till the mushrooms acquire a little colour. Add the pizza seasoning and mix. Add 2 tbsp water to hydrate the mushrooms, mix well and remove from heat. In a pan, add 2 tbsp oil and add the remaining half the onions and allow to cook over low heat till the onions caramelise. Add 1 tbsp sugar and ½ cup water and simmer on low heat till the sauce turns syrupy. Cut the pavs into halves. Spread the onion sauce on the base. Top with sauteed mushrooms and add grated cheese liberally. Grill, covered, in a pan or in a preheated oven to melt the cheese. Serve hot. Glazed Soya Balls Preparation time: 20 minutes Cooking time: 20 minutes Serves: 12 Ingredients: 1 cup soya granules, soaked 3 tbsp ginger garlic green chili paste 1 tbsp soya sauce 2 tbsp + ¼ cup sweet chili sauce 6 tbsp corn flour Salt to taste Pepper to taste 1 tsp Ajinomoto (optional) Oil as needed Method: Squeeze out all the moisture form the soaked soya balls. Add 5-6 tbsp corn starch, salt, pepper, soya sauce, 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce, ginger garlic chili paste, salt, pepper, Ajinomoto and bind together to make a loose dough. Make lemon sized balls and fry in moderately hot oil till golden and crisp. In a pan, add ½ cup sweet chili sauce, 1 tsp soya sauce, Ajinomoto, 1 tsp cornflour, salt to taste and bring to a boil. Simmer till the sauce is thick and glossy. Add the soya balls and mix well. Cook till the soya balls absorb all the sauce.
