Welcome to the first Nutcracker rehearsal vlog of 2024!
Despite the fact that things started off great, this was NOT my year. I was dancing on pointe, starting my own small business and following all my dreams. But after an injury turned cancer scare and an unexpected divorce, I sadly had to quit ballet. Thankfully I've learned a lot this year however.
I learned that ballet injury prevention is SO important and I also learned that the human spirit is incredibly resilient, even when it's been crushed.
So I'm BACK and NEVER giving up. So in this vlog, you'll watch me get back on pointe and try to rediscover my passion for life and dance through another amazing season of Nutcracker after so many challenges to overcome.

Hi there! I'm Veronica, welcome to my beginner dance journey. When I was 17, I was told by a teacher that I would never be a ballerina. I let that thought control me for YEARS but now, in my late 20s, I moved to New York City and I'm finally starting ballet late.
