Dato' Haji Kamarudin, President of IPSI, Welcomes 33 Visitors from the United States at Masjid Kapitan Keling, Penang
🌏✨ Dato' Haji Kamarudin had the honor of hosting 33 visitors, including professors and students from various universities in the United States. They were given a comprehensive introduction to the beauty of Islam, including a tour of the historic Masjid Kapitan Keling, its unique architecture 🕌, the process of ablution, prayer ( Solat ) , a translation of Surah Al-Fatihah 📖, the call to prayer (adhan) 📢, and the timing of prayers.
❓ The visitors posed interesting questions about prayer, Islamic attire for women 👗🧕, and fasting 🌙, which were addressed with warmth and openness.
🍵 In the mosque’s hall, the guests were treated to special Malaysian teh tarik while listening to an inspiring talk by Dato' Haji Kamarudin. His clear and impactful explanation deeply impressed the audience, with many referring to him as a "professor", recognizing him as a source of inspiration.
📚 Before leaving, the visitors were given translated copies of the Quran and Islamic brochures as references for further reading.
