Today would see 34046 “Braunton” on Golden Arrow duties once again.
Starting at Ravensbourne the loco can be seen working hard through the station, hot on the tail of a passenger service. I then headed to Cradle Bridge just outside of Ashford where 34046 is seen accelerating towards Wye as it approaches the end of the outward leg. Due to the loco causing a lineside fire just outside of Ashford, trains were diverted via Dover meaning in was unable to get any shots of the loco filling up with coal and water, however I still made it to Canterbury West for shunting and then the foot crossing for departure. I then headed to Headcorn before finishing the chase at Tonbridge, where 34046 is seen moving out of the up loop after a brief pause!
