How to Get There
You can reach Sawarna by taking a public bus from Jakarta or Bogor to Pelabuhan Ratu. From Pelabuhan Ratu, a minibus will take you directly to Sawarna.
Our Trip to Sawarna
We begin our journey on a Friday afternoon, but with a planned detour to Citarik Rafting (102 km from Jakarta), where we camp overnight to break up the journey. The next morning, we continue our trip to Sawarna and head straight to our guesthouse. Once there, we rent motorcycles since many of the beaches are remote and cannot be accessed by car.
*** Surfing in Sawarna
For those who love surfing or are eager to learn, Sawarna, along with nearby Cimaja, is an excellent spot to catch some waves. The area's beaches offer great surf conditions, making it a top choice for surfers of all skill levels.
