Brake late and sharp, balance gas mid-corner then GO. I upshift a bit too early; 7500rpm is optimal. Select "Racing Super Soft" tyres in Setting at a race event.

*Emulator Settings*
I use the same settings for GT1 and GT2 but use the pre-patched A-Spec v1.2 from their Discord to ensure compatibility:
https://projectcerbera.com/gt/1/duckstation/
There's so many settings in DuckStation and throughout the PC platform. We probably can't compare times from one emulated game to another.
*About the recording:*
* Windows Capture via Game Bar Win+G then Win+Alt+R.
* Monitor is 2560x1440 @ 144Hz in Windows so Capture is set to "Standard" quality and "30fps" with RegEdit changes for 720p 4000kbps target. (2GB per hour.)
* Uploaded the resulting MP4 from "Videos\Captures" folder to YouTube.
* GT2 USA v1.1 running in DuckStation with lots of custom config, including the GT Hi-Fi cheat code for 60fps.
* Camera in Options: "Chase 2" with "Standard" view angle.
* Xbox 1 Wireless Controller over BlueTooth. RC car controls: Left stick steering with right stick throttle and shoulder button (L1 R1) gear change, set as a "NeGcon" in DuckStation to reduce deadzone.
*Laptop specs:*
* ASUS GL702VMK (2017, repasted on raised feet)
* CPU: Intel i7-7700HQ (undervolted and Turbo de-tuned)

* GPU: nVidia GTX 1060 (very underclocked and slightly undervolted)
* OS: Windows 10 64-bit
