Ingredients-
Basmati rice- ½ kg
Milk-5 ltr
Sugar-1250 gms or 1500 gms
Ghee- 200 gms
Saffron strands- 1 tsp( soak in milk for 30 mins
Cardamon powder- 2 tbsp
Almonds,cashewnuts,pistachio – 1 cup
Method-
Wash and dry rice overnight and next day coarse grind.
Heat ghee,roast til it turns aromatic, pour sufficient water and cook. Pour milk and bring it to boil. Add sugar and mix. let it boil for 10 to 15 mins on low flame. Add saffron milk,roasted nuts and cardamon powder.bring it to boil and serve hot or rest for some time ,once it becomes thick serve it.
