Hello everyone! I’ve just arrived at Tashkent Airport in Uzbekistan, and my first experience here has been quite the shock—the prices! The taxi fare from the airport to my hotel was only 40 baht, the cheapest I’ve ever encountered in all my travels. This has set the tone for what I expect to be a trip full of surprises in this country.
After checking into the hotel and resting a bit, I ventured out to explore the nearby area in search of food, as it was already evening and I was getting hungry. However, finding a meal where I was staying proved challenging due to the quiet and limited options compared to a big city. I wandered past several local shops and markets but couldn’t find anything that caught my eye, spending quite a bit of time in search of an appealing meal.
