After using the lawn mower and not using it again, you must empty all the fuel in the tank and carburetor. If you don't drain it, it will dry up and become a sticky residue that sticks to the float needle head (causes the needle not to open the fuel) and sticks to the fuel injector, causing the fuel to not go up into the combustion chamber).
