Hoy, viajando en el Subte de Buenos Aires desde Abasto hasta Obelisco y luego visitamos a la Galería Obelisco Sur.
La Galería Obelisco Sur "Pedro de Mendoza" es un pasaje subterráneo comercial que conecta las calles Carlos Pellegrini y Cerrito, pasando bajo la Avenida 9 de Julio, entre la Avenida Corrientes y la calle Sarmiento, junto al Obelisco.
Tiene conexión con la boletería de la estación 9 de Julio de la línea D del Subte de Buenos Aires, y fue habilitado en 1964. Desde 2014, cuando fue remodelado, es administrado por Subterráneos de Buenos Aires.
Posee más de 50 locales comerciales en donde se venden desde comida y bebidas, pasando por antigüedades, hasta objetos de uso cotidiano y arte, hay lustrabotas, cerrajerías y una sucursal del Correo Argentino.
El "Subte" de Buenos Aires es la red de subterráneos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, compuesta de seis líneas ―A, B, C, D, E y H― con una extensión total de 62,8 km (de los cuales 56,7 km son para servicio comercial) y 90 estaciones en operación. Forma además parte del sistema un tranvía con dos ramales, el Premetro. La red es propiedad de Subterráneos de Buenos Aires Sociedad del Estado, empresa del gobierno local. Desde 1994, el subte se encuentra concesionado a la operadora privada Metrovías.
La actual línea A se inauguró en 1913, siendo la primera línea de metro que se construyó en América Latina, en todos los países de habla hispana y en todo el hemisferio sur. La red se extendió con rapidez durante las primeras décadas del siglo XX, pero el ritmo de ampliación disminuyó fuertemente tras los años que siguieron a la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Hacia fines de la década de 1990 se comenzó un nuevo proceso de expansión de la red con el planeamiento de cuatro nuevas líneas.
En 2019 la red de subterráneos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires transportó cerca de 325 millones de pasajeros.

Today, traveling on the Buenos Aires Subway from Abasto to Obelisco and then we visit the Obelisco Sur Gallery.
The "Pedro de Mendoza" Obelisco Sur Gallery is a commercial underground passage that connects Carlos Pellegrini and Cerrito streets, passing under 9 de Julio Avenue, between Corrientes Avenue and Sarmiento Street, next to the Obelisco.
It has a connection with the ticket office of the 9 de Julio station of line D of the Buenos Aires Subway, and was enabled in 1964. Since 2014, when it was remodeled, it is managed by Subterráneos de Buenos Aires.
It has more than 50 commercial premises where food and drinks are sold, through antiques, to everyday objects and art, there are shoeshine, locksmiths and a branch of the Argentine Mail.
The Buenos Aires "Subte" is the subway network of the City of Buenos Aires, made up of six lines ―A, B, C, D, E and H― with a total extension of 62.8 km (of which 56 , 7 km are for commercial service) and 90 stations in operation.
