This is flight 9 of 24 from my recent trip where I flew around the Caribbean. In January, I set out to fly to as many places in the Caribbean as possible, and after 12 days, 13 airlines, 24 flights, and over 10,000 miles, I landed back in Kansas City, Missouri after visiting 14 different countries & territories. Over the next few weeks I'll be posting these flights in order, so you too can take this incredible journey, exactly as I did! The flights will be posted every Wednesday and Saturday until all 24 flights are live! Monday full flight uploads will be reserved for other flights I have going on at the moment. So check back every week to take this incredible journey with me! Saba is home to the world's shortest commercial airport runway at on 1,301 feet long. Yes, that 1 extra foot makes the difference. To put that into perspective, the USS Gerald R. Ford, which is the largest US aircraft carrier, has a deck length of 1,106 feet. Making Saba's runway only 200 feet longer than the largest aircraft carrier ever built. Also, because of the unique and challenging aspects that accompany landing on such s small runway, only a handful of pilots in the world are even allowed to land there. Landing at Saba requires pilots to go through special training and they must have a special endorsement on their license before they're allowed to land there. ---------- Detailed Times: 0:00 – Intro 0:04 – Pre-Flight (Princess Juliana International Airport) 0:17 – Pre-Flight (Maho Beach) 7:26 – Pre-Flight (Princess Juliana International Airport) 8:47 – Boarding 9:34 – Pre-Flight (Aircraft) 9:54 – Cabin 10:33 – Captain's Pre-Flight Briefing 11:01 – Outbound Taxi 15:47 – Takeoff 18:08 – Inflight (Cockpit View) 18:29 – Inflight 25:50 – Landing 28:23 – Inbound Taxi 29:57 – Post-Flight (Aircraft) 30:21 – Post-Flight (Juancho E Yrausquin Airport) 33:05 – Post-Flight (Exploring Saba) 34:06 – Post-Flight (The Ladder Hiking Trail) 36:16 – Post-Flight (Island Flavor Restaurant) 37:11 – Outro ---------- Featured Music: Fragments by Sappheiros https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_BjjubkdBo Featured Equipment: iPhone 16 Pro Business/Use Contact Information: Email – [email protected] Other Links: Patreon – https://www.patreon.com/sla31 My Flight Radar – https://my.flightradar24.com/sla31 Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/SkyliteYouTube/ Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/skyliteproductions/ Discord – https://discord.gg/t8PmyYjSH7 Flagship First Patreon Supporters: Caleb Hays Christopher Saj Matthew Moody – https://www.youtube.com/boeing737d #FullFlight #Winair #TwinOtter ---------- © Skylite Productions 2025 – All footage & sound presented in this video is property of Skylite Productions.
