Sadly, a lot of cherry blossom festivals in Kyoto are now being cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak including most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in Kyoto.
However, it looks like we are going to welcome this most beautiful time of the year with the worst circumstances in 2020.
この映像は2020年4/2〜4日まで撮影。桜の見ごろの京都市内の名所を約10カ以上を撮っています。新型コロナウイルスの影響で訪れる人の数が例年よりも少なく、花見客は静けさが漂う桜を楽しんでいました。京都府と京都市は、不要不急の外出自粛を要請し、普段の週末なら国内外の観光客で歩道が混雑する清水寺への参道や嵐山は、ゆったり歩いて移動ができるほど。屋台も座敷もない円山公園などに、京都府立植物園では桜の見頃を迎えて混雑が予想され、感染を防ぐため４/３〜12日までの間、休園になり4/2 日に撮影しています。
