交通の要衝である佐賀県鳥栖市、九州自動車道(E3)鳥栖JCTから東進し、福岡県朝倉市など福岡県中南部の平野部を経由して、玖珠IC以東は山間部を縫いながら日田市や九重町、湯布院町を経由し、(E10)東九州自動車道日出JCTに接続する大分自動車道(E34)です。湯布院IC～由布岳SIC間は大分自動車道内で最高標高となる標高734mの地点(93.8kp付近)を通過します。湯布院I.C付近から正面に由布岳がご覧いただけます。本動画は長崎自動車道を長崎方面から走行し、鳥栖JCTから大分自動車道へ進入しています。大分自動車道の起点は佐賀県鳥栖市、九州自動車道鳥栖JCT交差部、終点は大分県速見郡日出町、日出JCTまでの104.7kmです。所要時間は平日の日中で約1時間です。

The Oita Expressway (E34) runs east from Tosu City, Saga Prefecture, a major transportation hub, and the Kyushu Expressway (E3) Tosu JCT, through the plains of south-central Fukuoka Prefecture, including Asakura City, and then east of the Kusu Interchange through Hita City, Kokonoe Town, and Yufuin Town, while stitching through mountainous areas, to connect with the (E10) Higashi Kyushu Expressway Hiji JCT. Between Yufuin I.C. and Yufudake S.I.C., the road passes through a point at 734m above sea level (around 93.8kp), the highest point on the Oita Expressway. You can see Mt. Yufudake in front of you from the Yufuin Interchange. The journey time is about one hour on weekdays.
