I was going to label this "How To Do Jazz Articulation" or "How To Bebop Tongue," but the truth is that there are many different concepts of articulation. The style of articulation I have become the biggest fan of is Charlie Parker's. I remember in high school thinking, "How did he make his notes sound so... poppy?" as in the accents were so defined.
