In this lesson, I’ve got five chords that all of the famous players like to use with, “E Minor.” These chords are important to understand for every guitarist because “E Minor” is so popular.
A lot of powerful music is written in “E” Minor and this is especially true when it comes to guitar songs. It’s mainly due to how “Em” has such a natural and accessible sound when used to perform harmony & melody on guitar itself.
One of the strongest connections to the “E Minor” guitar sound comes from how the “open E” string functions as a crucial part of the “Em” 6th-string root set up. The fact is, “E” Minor’s booming sound makes it perfect for guitar players.
In this lesson, we’ll learn five chords that fit perfectly alongside “Em” chord. These five chords are vital to know since they are played across a popular collection of classic guitar songs in many different music styles.
The “E Minor” tonality is without any doubt one of the most popular sounds used by ‘anyone & everyone’ who writes music with a guitar. In fact, “E minor” is one of the go to standards for emotional feel and darker intensity in guitar music.
Since “Em” tonality is one of the best for powerful feelings I wanted to prove it by organizing a collection of classic song examples that are all based in “Em.”
