Hey there, my friend. Let me ask you a serious question—one that might shake you a little bit. Are you truly a Christian?
I’m not asking if you go to church.
I’m not asking if you own a Bible.
I’m not even asking if you call yourself a Christian.
I’m asking—deep down in your heart, do you truly belong to Jesus Christ?
You see, the Bible warns us that not everyone who claims to follow Christ is actually saved. In fact, Jesus Himself said something really sobering in Matthew 7:21-23:
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”
