Reporter Daniel Aßmann presents five very personal highlights from the Münsterland. Among other things, he meets the world champion in the backward marathon and visits Germany's last wild horses in the Merfelder Bruch near Dülmen.

Daniel Assmann found a very special highlight of this episode a few kilometers west of the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Dülmen. There has been a herd of wild horses here since the earliest times - the wild horses in the Merfelder Bruch, which were mentioned in a document as early as 1316. Daniel is particularly fond of these wild animals.
Another highlight for Daniel Aßmann from the Münsterland is the athlete Markus Jürgens. He is world champion of the backward runner in the half marathon and with 3 hours, 38 minutes and 27 seconds world record holder over the marathon distance.
