In this video, we'll see how to make Rasam powder. We will use simple ingredients to make this Rasa podi. Most of the ingredients will be dry-fried for this rasa podi. As you know Rasam powder is the base ingredient for making Rasam. We are making this rasam with the simple ingredients mentioned here,
Rasam powder(ரசப்பொடி)
Coriander seeds (கொத்தமல்லி விதைகள்) - 3/4 cup
Toor dal (துவரம் பருப்பு) - 1/4 cup
Cumin seeds(சீரகம்) – 3 tsp
Black pepper(மிளகு) – 3 tsp
Red chilli(மிளகாய்) – 100 gms
Fenugreek seeds(வெந்தயம்) – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves (கறிவேப்பிலை) – 3 sprigs
Gingelly Oil (நல்லெண்ணெய்) – 1 tsp
Asafoetida Cake (கட்டி பெருங்காயம்) – 2 pieces
Turmeric powder (மஞ்சள் தூள்) – ½ tsp
