Here are 5 of my favourite (not THE 5 BEST) gai tod restaurants and street stalls in Bangkok. Stop 1: First I'm taking my good friend ‪@Macoi24‬ for some Hat Yai fried chicken and som tam at Burin Market by the famous Icon Siam Shopping Mall, then we're heading for some Thai biryani at Noor on Charoen Nakhon Road. HAT YAI GAI TOD KHLONG SAN: https://maps.app.goo.gl/83EUdYMiVFC1v8St9 Stop 2: The best place to find cheap food is by a University, so we've headed down to Srinakharinwirot University (มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ ประสานมิตร) to try the best Thai fried chicken shop in Bangkok (in our humble opinions). We also tried some shrimp paste rice and a mataba at the SWU Market. ข้าวไก่ทอดประตู 2 Fried Chicken https://maps.app.goo.gl/9KBergWfrpjUMXph8 Stop 3: We also went to an amazing fried chicken and fried pork stall outside Klong Thom Center and if you're into gai tod, it's a must hit spot! The chicken is around here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/czNXXUUcFzfCwDfW9 Stop 4: I then headed to around the corner to Soi Polo for some Michelin-recommended fried chicken at Polo Fried Chicken (ไก่ทอดเจ๊กี) Directions and opening times: https://goo.gl/maps/wXNKLDZ6f1d4oXH67 Stop 5: Now this was a random one but the chicken here is legit! ตี๋คอนแวนต์ ไก่ทอด https://maps.app.goo.gl/jcTE3EwML6ezxaGm7 Now you know where to get the best fried chicken in Bangkok, get out and tell me what you think! I’m obsessed with Thai street food and it’s that obsession that led me to start this YouTube channel. I want to share my favourite hidden spots in Bangkok and the rest of Thailand so you can fall in love with authentic, local Thai food as much as I have! If you love seeing off the beaten path, non-touristy, local life and authentic local life in Bangkok and Thailand then this is the channel for you. If go go bars on the Sukhumvit Road are more your thing (I’m not judging) then maybe not!
