From the Boots Court Motel we drive to the Route 66 Drive-In just down the road.
We get a quick shot with the Wilder's Steak House sign then we're into Kansas and the Front Street Garage.
Just across the street is the Kan-O-Tex Station.
A couple of blocks away is the Will Rogers Memorial in Pappy Lynch Park.
Almost next door is Gearhead Curios owned by Aaron Perry who's gotta passion for Route 66.
After giving an Aussie a hard time about his rental car safety bananas we head over to Nelson's old Riverton Store - it's like stepping back in time.
Then we head west to the Rainbow Bridge.
That's where we find the same Aussie - Ken - and he takes a video of me driving over the Rainbow Bridge - Super nice guy!!
Making friends in The 55 on old Route 66!!
Finally we get to check out the Kansas Route 66 Visitors Center in Baxter Springs - it's in a cool old gas station.
